Olbermann the Historian

It is rare that anyone in TV news bothers to make an historical case about anything. Here Keith Olbermann shows what could be done if the media took the time to think about the past and not assume that old news is irrelevant. I saw it, and I'm sold, but then, I remember the past, too.

I have not seen this video on any of the more popular blogs, Dr. T. I think it's worth a wider audience. Have you called it to the attention of the widely-read bloggers - if they'll pay attention?

A newsman doing history on a regular news show is extremely rare these days. If I had influence with any of the big-timers, I'd link to it.

I'm not sure where I first saw this, but I know Pandagon had it, and they have fairly high readership. I wonder if Crooks and Liars ever ran it? I'll look into it.

Looks like C&R did indeed flag it. Your friends can find it there under the Countdown w/ K.O. tag on the lefthand side of the main page - or send them here!
